Candidate FAQs

Your employer will be the company with whom you interview. The Cordele Agency is a third-party recruiting firm and not a temporary staffing agency.
It’s simple! You will need to submit an online application for an open position listed on our website. We review the resumes to find the best fits based on experience and qualifications specific to that job. If your resume is selected, an agent from The Cordele Agency will reach out to you. Our prescreening process starts with a phone call to you, where we get to know you and learn about your ideal position. We then call your references and run a background check before moving your resume forward to the hiring manager. We will also help to prepare you for the interview. Our agents work with you every step of the way!
The timeframe is quite variable, depending on the type of job and the company with which we are working. Most placements occur between a few weeks to a couple of months.
Employer FAQs
With exceptionally low unemployment rates, qualified candidates have their choice of job opportunities. We prescreen the talent pool and sell your company for you, freeing up your in-house resources to focus on company goals. Additionally, working with a third-party agency provides anonymity, keeping your hiring needs out of your competitor’s view.
Our process begins by getting to know your company culture and your hiring needs. Our initial meeting will establish the timeline for filling the open positions, set communication expectations, formulate the job description, and discuss the fees that will apply to your company’s specific situation. We will then issue a contract for your review based on the agreed-upon terms, which is standard in our industry. Our fees are contingency based, meaning you only pay a fee once we find the right candidate for your role.
Our fees are based on a percentage of the first-year annual salary of the employee.
Background checks are conducted on all candidates we represent for our hiring purposes. However, we strongly encourage our clients to do their own background screening on direct hire candidates include any specific requirements according to their company’s HR policies.
Drug testing can be conducted at the request of the employer, and costs will be passed on to the employer.
